I currently teach senior and gentle flow classes at AllHeartYoga in NW Portland, and lead an online group on Wednesday nights (please inquire if interested!). My classes are strongly anatomy and physiology informed and provide the safest and most comfortable space for you to have your asana and pranayama (poses and breath) practice. However, the main emphasis is always on the state of mind as we work on applying traditional Yogic and Buddhist teachings alongside contemporary practices of going within and letting go of mental, emotional, and physical tension, aiming towards wider awareness, self-knowledge and greater acceptance of life.
I also offer private yoga sessions online or at the studio for those situations when you need to address your practice from a different perspective than a typical class offers. It’s also an efficient entry for beginners looking to jump start a yogic routine, or revive it after a period of non-activity or illness.
